Photographic Style- photographing light in the dark

Experiment with your camera even in the dark of night. The light patterns shown are captured at night with a digital camera. The lights are not moving, the camera was moved from 1-3 seconds ,while the shutter is open to the entire time trying to capture  the light. Some are  longer in time. The patterns you see in the pictures  are that of a single light source,a porch light in the distance of about 50 yards or less.
